Thomas
G. Hardy
Throughout his career, Tom Hardy has served others as a teacher, school
headmaster, and educational consultant. He specializes in the areas of school
governance and curriculum design. While living in Chicago, Hardy was both
educational director and a teacher at Midtown Center, a renowned after-school
program for underserved boys. More recently, he co-founded Visitation House in
Worcester, Massachusetts, for expectant mothers in crisis where he is a member
of the Board of Directors. Tom is currently writing a pioneering textbook on
science and technology for junior high school and high school students. A
foundational advocate of NAEIF, he has since been a constant font of creativity,
encouragement, and wisdom. A Worcester resident, Tom and his wife have nine
children and many grandchildren.
