Ever since the devastating earthquakes that struck Mexico City in 1985, the
founders of NAEIF have been actively promoting direct and productive contact
between Canadian, Mexican and U.S.
students and professionals with the poorest of the poor of Mexico.
NAEIF was founded as a 501(C)(3) foundation in March 2000 to see to it that these encounters would serve
as “eye opening” and “heart transforming”
learning opportunities. It is our
fervent hope that participants might become better leaders on behalf of human
dignity whenever and wherever that dignity is most under siege. |
